With no family around, we decided to take advantage of Rob's time off work and head to Monterey for a few days. We had so much fun at the aquarium, which Clark kept calling the "cemetery" out of pure confusion....still not sure how the two can be confused. Clark loved all of the sharks and Kurt just loved having so many things to look at, touch and space to run free. Thanksgiving morning, we went on some amazing hikes/walks along the coast up by Carmel and Point Lobos. We also did the 17 Mile Dr. along Pebble beach, which was beautiful. Our Thanksgiving meal consisted of fish and chips and clam chowder...not a very traditional Thanksgiving, but we had so much fun as a family and enjoyed speeding time together, laughing, skipping, teasing, and exploring a new place. I am so thankful for my amazing family and all of the adventures ahead of us and the fun times too.
