Did I mention we took a 2 hour detour on our way home from santa Barbara? WE decided to drive a long the coastline on the way back. It was really pretty, but little did we know it was one lane for MILES at 40 miles an hour. Kurt was not too happy, so we stopped along the way for a nature walk :)

Ventura Beach House with the Weeds

We had such a fabulous week at the beach house! Thank you thank you to my parents for letting me and my crew crash their relaxing get away and thanks to my sweet husband who drove us there 7 hours and turned around the next day to go back work and week only to drive another roundtrip to pick us up. We had so much fun!

First of many weeks in Yuba City, CA

What have we done this week, oh ya know....plotted against a gofer in the backyard, pretended to be Martha and pruned the rose bushes, played with the water table from grandma Kathleen, read books, got rained on, explored our new surroundings, unpacked, and unpacked some more.
