Before preschool let out for the holidays, Clark's montessori class put on a little Christmas program. Clark was a Wiseman and sang "This is the Season" with his class. I loved that I could hear his cute little voice. Afterwards the kids decorated gingerbread houses...and tended to eat the candy before actually sticking it on the house. Clark loves going to school Myles and Finn, who also happen to be his 2nd cousins. He is dying to get back to school!
My amazing mother-in-law managed to throw not one, but two fabulous dinner parties, and on our Sunday dinner, the grandkids continued the tradition of acting out the Nativity, where Clark insisted he play the role of wiseman yet again. Clark LOVES running around with his cousins and sitting with them at the cousin table where they all chat up a storm. I got his food ready for him and was getting him situated at the table and as I pushed his chair in, before he was scooted all the way in, he started right in "my friends at school are Myles and Finn. My teachers name is Mrs. Janelle...." He gabbed the whole night long. Before everyone left, Clark sang his solo to "Last Christmas" for the gang that he had been practicing for the Weed Christmas talent show. Seriously, it is the cutest thing to hear him sing that song!
The Weed fam got together once before Mike and Melissa left for New Mexico where we ate a yummy dinner, did a gift exchange, talent show, etc. Clark got the microphone for his little number, and boy did he take it away. "Alright everybody. Time for the Talent show. Alright, Im gonna sing..." Man, take it away. He cracks us up!
Christmas Eve, we went caroling on a trailer with my cousins the Madsens and their gang, opened Pjs and let Kurt and Clark open a present form Grandma and Grandpa Weed. We headed home early to get Clark to bed and finish up things around the house. He was SO excited for Santa to come. All Clark asked for, from day 1 ,were 1. Transformers 2. Legos.
