4th of July

Well, the fourth has come and gone, but we had quite the bash! Rob and the guys knocked from 9-7 and then headed back for our company BBQ! While the guys were out knocking, all of us girls + the kids got together and made some delicious crepes and hung out! We were so excited to see Rob when he got home....we hadn't seen him for almost 2 days because the guys stayed the night in the city they have been selling in. Here is a small world story: One of the wives sister and her husband came for the weekend to visit and the sister happened to be married to one of Rob's missions companions! Rob was so shocked to see him as he pulled into the parking lot. Anyway, back to the fourth.. Rob organized and headed a big roman candle war with all of the guys...Rob was in his GLORY! If anyone knows Rob, they know he LOVES fireworks!!! Rob at a firework stand is comparable to a kid in a candy store! I am starting to realize that Clark has MANY of Rob's characteristics and passions including his love for fireworks. Clark would not let the roman candles leave the tight grasp of his chubby hands! We had so much fun. Amy and I attempted to make a flag cake and although it wasn't much to look at, it was really good. Amy took some cute pics that i'll post later, but all in all it was a fabulous fourth of July!
